What is RSS?
RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication' and RSS feeds are special webpages designed to be read by computers rather than people.
RSS allows you to see when specified internet sites have added new content. You are able to collate articles, headlines and other available updates from multiple sites in one place, as soon as they are published, without having to remember to visit each site every day.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
To use an RSS feed you generally require a news reader, which is a piece of software that checks your specified RSS feeds and lets you read the new items that have been added to them.
News readers are either accessed using a browser or via a downloadable application. Browser-accessed news readers have the added benefit of allowing you to review your RSS feed updates from any computer with internet access.
To add our RSS feed to your newsreader, you need to click on the RSS button and cut and paste the URL into a new feed in your news reader.
