Semi finished steel
At Corus we produce a wide variety of semi-finished products in both bloom, billet and slab form.
Billets sizes range from 75 – 160mm, blooms in various sizes > 160mm and slabs 75/76mm thick x 180 – 470mm wide and 100mm thick x 200 – 470mm wide.
Steel types produced currently are rimmed substitute, balanced (semi-killed), low carbon killed, medium carbon, high carbon, freecutting, low alloy heat treatable, tyre wire and spring steels.
