Aerospace Grades
We supply a wide range of air-melted and remelted Carbon, Alloy and Stainless steel grades specifically for the Aerospace market.
Our steel can be supplied to either published UK, European or US specifications, to a customer's own requirement or a published aircraft manufacturers specification.
Current national specifications for which aerospace steel grades can be produced are:
- British Standard Aerospace 'S' series specifications
- American Standard Aerospace 'AMS' specifications
- French Standard Aerospace series, covered by AIR9160C.
- German Standard Werkstoff - 'WN' & 'WL' - specifications
We can also work to two or more amalgamated specifications, where permitted by the scope of the individual analysis ranges, to meet multiple release requirements.
