Tata Steel has produced its twelfth report which provides a review of activities achieved by the Packaging Recycling department during 2010.

The report gives a breakdown of expenditure against specific recycling activities and highlights initiatives that have benefited directly from Tata Steel PRN expenditure.

Garvin Freeman, Manager of Packaging Recycling says, “Our twelfth report clearly demonstrates that in 2010, the steel industry again underlined its commitment to recycling which contributed to the 59 per cent national recycling rate achieved for steel packaging.

“We believe it is important to demonstrate to our customers, and the packaging industry as a whole, our commitment to investing in the future of steel packaging recycling.”
